6pm-ish: Welcome Reception at The Rat's Nest, one of the funkiest spots in the artsy NoDa neighborhood. We'll get to know each other while a gallery crawl fills the sidewalks around us.
Saturday, Sep 6th
9:30am - 5:30pm: Daytime sessions
(At the public library across the street from the hotel.)
Including:
- assessment of where we are as an organization
- discussion of where we want to go as an organization
- communications / media training
- presentation on The Liberal Card
- (and a lunch break, of course!)
6-7:30pm - Dinners on your own / small groups
7:30pm - National Conference Party only a block from the hotel @ Madison's Bar & Lounge. We'll toast our liberalness and welcome some of the more active members from around the region to join us for the evening.
Sunday, Sep 7th
10am - 12:30pm: Closing Sessions
- Steps for moving forward
- Living Liberally & the Election
- Ideas to make your chapters stronger and your jobs easier
1pm - ? : Optional Social Outing for those who stay in town -
BBQ at the nearby home of Johnny Dirt, former manager of the NYC bar
where Drinking Liberally began.
